Visited here whilst on a short stay this week. Popped in and I had the cheese, onion and tomato quiche. When we arrived it was still in the oven which I didn’t mind waiting for! It was the best quiche I’ve ever had, beats Dicksons, shop ones, even farm shop ones! As you can see by the photo, the quiche was brimming, beautiful and fresh ingredients! The staff were very helpful too as my boyfriend has gluten free and he even had a couple of gorgeous cakes too!

I stopped by on Thursday and inquired about gluten free scones (I’m English, but live in the United States). Unfortunately, they were out, but the chef stepped out and said he would make some and I could come back by later on that day or the next day. I went by just before they closed on the same day and the chef had made both fruit and cheese scones! As they were closing I picked some up to take away. They were excellent! I loved them so much, I returned with my spouse and cousin for breakfast the next day (also excellent) and we bought 3 different gf desserts (all absolutely fantastic!). Not only was the entire staff understanding and incredibly nice (they all went far above and beyond), the food is outstanding and the scones and desserts are not to be missed. I give The Cottage Kitchen food and staff my absolute highest recommendation. For people not concerned with gluten I still give the Cottage Kitchen my highest recommendation as the food is absolutely outstanding. The breakfasts were fabulous and the desserts are sinfully delicious.

Extremely helpful staff and chef went out of their way to prepare an alternative soup for my lunch, as I was unable to have the one advertised, and even gave me the remaining portion when we left. The service was quick, the food was really good and reasonably priced, would go again .

Good portions of yummy food. Took pud to-go to have on our camping trip (the dark forest cheesecake was especially lovely!). Friendly staff and very dog friendly - they brought our dog a sausage, on the house.

Get the chips and gravy! Me and my friends (all 9 of them) loved them and thought they were super tasty. We bought 2 boxes of chips and cups of gravy on our trip back home to London Their other food items were also quite tasty. The paninis were decent; the sweet potato chips that came with it were yum! Perfect for a pit stop bite.

We had lunch at The Cottage Kitchen, which was wonderful. Children's menu, friendly staff, nice atmosphere and most importantly: plenty of gluten and lactose free options! The salmon quiche was so good. Definitely recommend going here, especially when suffering from food allergies or intolerances.
